Author: Tim Trono R. Paul Wilson’s “Fan2C” is to cards what Extreme Burn is to bills. This is fabulous and in my opinion one of the must have items of the year. Quite some time ago my friend Paul Wilson showed me his effect Zapped. It looked like a camera trick as a hand of five random cards instantly and visibly changed to a royal flush which he immediately handed to me. On this new DVD Paul teaches several new handlings that are just stunning. The DVD is produced by Dan and Dave Buck so you know the production is stupendous. Also included is a 40 page downloadable booklet detailing various handlings of “Fan2C”. This is REALLY good. If you do card magic you HAVE to have this. If you don’t do card magic you have to have this. It has been an exciting year with some amazing releases. “Fan2C” is, without a doubt, in this category and something I will be using. HIGHLY recommend!

Author: Matthew Field In the movie Shade a bad poker hand was instantaneously and visibly changed to a royal flush. The effect was devised and performed by R. Paul Wilson, the Scottish magician well known for his performances on BBC3's series The Real Hustle. The effect itself was invented by Bob Koch but that version was heavily gaffed requiring extensive set-up before performance and, of course, the cards could not be examined.
Paul has devised a simple gaff, somewhat reminiscent of those of Theodore DeLand. He shows you how to make the thing – a matter of a couple of minutes, some cards, a scissor and Crazy Glue – and gives excellent instructions on how best to perform the trick. The DVD contains a 40-page, illustrated pdf file for further study, and Quicktime movies you can transfer to your iPhone or other viewer to watch while you've got some time to kill.
The video is exceedingly well shot (Dan and Dave Buck are experts at this) and Paul gives several variations in the handling. Do a YouTube search of "Fan2C" to see a demo. The bottom line is that this is a great variation of a visual trick – a real improvement on the original – that is easy to perform, can use borrowed cards, is as visual as can be and everything can be examined. And the price is right.

Author: Dimitri Horning (dimitri1337hx@yahoo.com) this is a great product! The gimmick is so small that i keep it in my wallet wherever I go. And the pdf that comes with it has even more variations than are on the dvd.
