Why are we selling an Absolut branded deck?
Because we love these cards!
What is it about their finish?
The feel of this deck is something to behold. Printed on one-ply paper rather then the normal three-ply used in USPCC brands makes the entire deck end up being four cards thinner then a deck of Bicycle’s. Trust us when we say this is the thinnest deck you will own making it ideal for manipulators and flourishers.
Each card is incredibly flexible, like plastic, and can be bent every which way only to take back its original form. You can spill liquid on these cards and, if quick enough to wipe them dry, they will not warp.
You can leave these cards it a hot car with no Classic Clip and they won’t warp, it's unbelievable. They're perfect for regions with extreme heat and humidity.
History
Back in 2005 Absolut Vodka commissioned close-up performers such as Kostya Kimlat, Lee Asher, Doug McKenzie and Daniel Garcia to name a few, and sent them to infiltrate every college, bar and nightclub in the US. These cards were printed and given to the magicians to use when performing and to hand out as souvenirs.
